Coach Thumim has been with Russia Lacrosse from the first Championship in Denver, USA. Coach Thumim started as an assistant coach, and in 2016, took over as the Head Coach for Russia Lacrosse.

Coach Thumim lives in Denver, Co, USA, where he is the head coach at Golden High School. In 2019, Coach Thumim won his first Colorado Class 4A High School State Championship in his third season with the Demons.
